What a great cook book and philosophy on life. I felt as if I had been there with Phil and could have created the recipes with him. Way to go!!!!!!
A typically good book from Phil.
This book enabled me to revisit the past. It brought back happy and funny memories. Pleased to see some of the old things fade away but sad that some of the better ones have now all but gone. Thank for the memories Phil, a very enjoyable read.
Great book! Reminded me of how simple life was before. Also I got to know many things I didn't even know they existed. The book is very well written, full of very interesting facts and well researched. Mr.Brewer has succeeded in providing a good description of the changes undergone by some of the most popular house appliances ,automobiles and many other artifacts. I love the cover of the book,thank you Phil.
